I have someone here who cares for me.
He's with me, and you are not.
And yet,
I can't help thinking of you.
I can't stop these images that flood my mind.
In times of silence I reflect. I think of your face. Your hands. Your smell. Your breath.
In time of excitement, I wonder where you are. What are you doing? Walking? Singing? Thinking of me?
Are you?
I have someone here. I have someone. With me. They are by my side.
Where are you?
Why aren't you here?
I wonder. Should I come and get you?
Would that be best?
Should I forsake the calm routine of my current life, risk it all -risk him
for you?
For you.
I know you're worth it.
But I don't know if you'd risk it all for me.
